Contrast Injector Training

Overview

Servicing Contrast Injector Systems is a hands-on, skills development program that teaches the service  professional the skills necessary to understand injector systems that are peripheral to many medical imaging modalities. The course contains lecture on injectors principles, lecture and demonstration on specific injector products, and hands-on training. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to perform diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on contrast injectors.

Prerequisites

To attend this course, the service professional must a background in biomed or imaging.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic contrast injector theory
  • Perform basic system repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Demonstrate how to use an Injector Service Tool Kit
